AEG AsiaEuro Group Taipei Exchange Event | Connecting Europe Through Expertise, Creating Long-Term Value
21 Aug 2026, 18:30

Connecting European residency opportunities with asset allocation to help families build a stronger and more sustainable future has long been an important direction for AEG AsiaEuro Group. On 20 September 2025, Golden Horizon Fund, part of AEG AsiaEuro Group, hosted a client seminar in Taipei. The Group’s team, together with legal and fund management professionals, met with clients in person. The discussion extended from European residency planning to fund investment and asset allocation, covering key topics including the Portugal Golden Visa, residency pathways across different European countries, fund structures, project development, and investment rationale.

The seminar was jointly organised by AEG and its Taiwan partner, EuroImmigration. As an important partner of the Group in the Taiwan market, EuroImmigration provides professional support in client communication, residency planning, and local services, and played an important role in the preparation and successful delivery of the event.

From Residency Planning to Asset Allocation: Addressing the Issues That Matter to Clients
As European residency policies and investment pathways continue to evolve, clients are increasingly looking beyond residency requirements alone to consider the investment structures, fund management, and long-term asset planning behind their residency strategies.
During the seminar, the team discussed residency pathways and policy developments across different European countries, with particular focus on the Portugal Golden Visa. Following changes to eligible investment options, fund investment has become one of the current qualifying investment routes under the Portugal Golden Visa programme. As a result, questions such as how funds are selected, how capital is managed, how investments operate, and how underlying projects develop over time have become increasingly important to clients.
To address these questions, the legal and fund management teams provided perspectives on residency policies, compliance requirements, fund structures, and investment rationale, helping clients gain a more comprehensive understanding of the connection between residency planning and fund investment.
This has also been an important focus throughout the development of Golden Horizon Fund. During the Fund’s early stages, AEG worked with the Portuguese professional fund management institution Quadrantis, supporting the Fund’s operation and development within a professional and compliant framework. As the Group continues to expand its presence in European investment and asset management, Golden Meridian has become an integral part of AEG’s fund management framework, with its professional team involved in fund management, investment research, and related activities.

Face-to-Face Dialogue for Greater Clarity
The seminar ran from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., welcoming more than 100 clients to a full-capacity venue with active engagement throughout the event. Over nearly four hours, clients actively participated in discussions and raised questions based on their individual circumstances, ranging from residency pathways and fund investment to project progress and long-term planning. The professional teams responded to these questions and provided further clarification.

Compared with one-way information sharing, face-to-face dialogue allows us to better understand what matters most to our clients, while giving clients the opportunity to discuss their individual needs directly with professional teams.
This reflects an important principle at AEG: to make expertise understandable, information transparent, and communication an integral part of every stage of a long-term relationship.
Looking ahead, AEG AsiaEuro Group will continue to engage with clients across different markets through in-person seminars, online sessions, and thematic discussions, sharing professional insights on European residency policies, market developments, asset allocation, and project progress.
Every conversation is a starting point for the long-term, transparent, and trusted relationships we seek to build.
